This fight reminds me of Zarate vs Gomez. Zarate was sick with fever and dehydrated to the max. Gomez beat him and kept beating him with no mercy to the point of humiliating Zarate. Berchelt was sold out by his manager who starved him and dehydrated him for no fucken reason other than the obvious. Knowing this, Valdez and his corner kept hitting Berchelt to the back of his head knowing that with minimal liquid in the skull to absorb shock to the brain he would injure him and mess with his motor skills.
